Message for World Refugee Day 2010
World Refugee Day is celebrated to honour and raise awareness of the plight of those who have been forced to flee their country and seek a safe haven. For those who hope for a brighter future for themselves and their children and a place they can once again call home. The committee includes members from Canadian Red Cross, Calgary Catholic Immigration Society, Calgary Public Library, Immigrant Services Calgary, Citizens for Social Justice, and the YMCA Calgary.
